Long Description:
-----------------
The Complete Image, or "CImage", v3.11 is a revolutionary new concept
in image processing. It's batch abilities combined with it's macros
make it a very powerful tool for large animation projects. It's
command line interface offers much more flexibility than most other
interfaces.
Reads and writes TGA, IMG, BMP, GIF, and IPI (a very simple file
format for interfacing CImage with other programs).
Works on ALL video cards. VESA compatibility with versions up to 1.2
VBE. You have the choice of the built-in 256 color drivers, VESA
(includes hi-color and true color displays), or BIOS.
The extensive online help is great for beginners and advanced users. The
manual even describes how many of these operations work so that the user
has a better understanding of how that function might perform on an image.
CImage is completely configurable. There isn't anything you can't configure!
Filters, filters filters... Count them up, and you have over 100
filters! The filters are defined in an ASCII text file, so you can
add your own.
CImage uses ALL available memory by running in protected mode. If
you need more memory, you can turn on the Virtual Memory.
What you can do with CImage:
Very extensive help; load/save/merge (merges red/green/blue images
into one) the following formats: TGA, BMP, IMG, IPI, GIF;
generate terrain maps for the BOB ray tracer and POV Ray; show images
using built-in SuperVGA drivers, BIOS or go above 256 colors and
display 24-bit images with VESA support; DOS-like batch file support

includes logical commands (IF/IFNOT, etc.); environment variables and
macros help the batch programming; generate negatives, perform image
arithmatic (add/subtract/mult./div.); brighten and darken; add noise
to, or filter it out with over 100 built in filters; normalize;
convert to gray; gamma correct; pixelize; overlay (like chroma-key,
or, "Blue-Screen" features on TV); binarize and generate plasma
images, and the list just goes on and on. Requires: [386DX+/4MB+]
